Baby Room

On Saturday, Gary and my parents decied that we needed to start painting the baby's room. We painted the room pink and green. I couldn't help them. That was a major bummer, but the room turned out cute! Gary wanted to paint hot air balloons, flowers, and lady bugs. He created a pattern for each of the items and then painted them on the wall. It looks great! I'm greatful for parents who are always willing to help us. We now have our room painted and her crib ready for her to sleep in. I just hope that the doctor is right in telling us that we are going to have a little girl.

Printing Issues

After spending at least a couple of hours or more, I am convinced that a prayer goes a long ways. Tonight I decided that I wanted to print up some reports for work. Little did I know that it would take me so much time. I started out by trying to install our old (well, not that old only four years old.) printer. The CD that came with the printer said that it was only good for Windows 98, 2000, and XP. I didn't realize this until I called the HP company. Last week we bought a new computer that now has Windows-Vista. Needless to say our printer wasn't going to work. Gary and I decided that we would try to use another printer, a printer that he had recieved from work. However, we couldn't find our printer's cd software. I decided to say a prayer. I am greatful that our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. After saying a quick prayer in my mind. I decided that I was going to try to see if the printer would work by downloading the software. It wouldn't. Then I realized that I needed to check to see if it was set for the correct printer. It wasn't so after changing the printer to the correct one, it worked! I can now go to bed and relax! Thank goodness for prayer!

Baby on Board

Yesterday, our school had our Thanksgiving Feast. It was alot of fun for my students and their families. While I was waiting for students to finish their special, someone mentioned to me that I had a baby on board. I can't believe that people are just starting to figure out that I'm pregnant. Although, this is probably a good thing! Yes, I'm not fat, just pregnant!
I have had such a hard time gaining the weight that I know is necessary for our baby to be healthy. Last week, I had to get ready to go to a family party. I didn't want to go, for fear of people telling me that I had gotten much bigger. It's amazing that when you have not had a child before, your willing to tell someone that they "are starting to show," or my favorite "You've grown since I've seen you." I don't know why, but when people tell me I'm getting bigger, I just want to cry. I guess growing up worrying about my weight and then having to gain all of this weight makes me feel that way. After 4 years of waiting to have a kid, I can't wait until she is born. We have been trying to think of names. Gary is set on one name and it's so hard to find a middle name to go with that name. Everyday my mom calls us and tells us a new name. I guess we'll have to wait and see what we'll name her. I also can't wait until she is born and I can start exercising more and doing sit ups. I definently will be walking so I can loose all of the "baby weight" I've gained.

Wisdom Teeth

Yesterday I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. I never thought that I would have to have them pulled out. It wasn't fun at all. I couldn't eat and I got sick from having them pulled out. The medicine made me sick too. My cheecks are very swollen. I can't wait until I can eat the foods I'm used to. Well thank goodness for a good mom. I stayed at my parents house yesterday. Gary didn't get off from work until about 9:30.

Moving Day

We have recently moved into a three bedroom house. I love our house, but just wished that the market was better and that we could sell our condo. We moved closer to our Gary's family and work. My commute is so much better. I can't wait until we have our house cleaned and organized.

Ruidiso

Gary and I just got back from going with his family to Ruidiso, New Mexico. Not everyone was able to go. Last year, everyone but me went. I didn't get to go last year due to working and not having enough leave. This year Cal, Mary Ann, Alisha, Gary and I went. We had lots of fun, but wished that everyone else could have been there too. Alisha flew to Alberqueque and meet her mom and dad at the airport. Gary and I stayed at the hotel and waited for them to arrive. After everyone was there we continued on to New Mexico. Cal and Mary Ann have a time share there. It is a nice 2 bedroom condo. When we got there we were greeted by some birds on the back patio. We couldn't believe that there were so many birds hanging out on the back patio. It is a amazing how they build their nests. Some of the other things that we did there are the following: We went to a maze ( I hated it, because I couldn't find my way out), horseback riding (This was so much fun, we even seen an elk while riding.), golfing (I played good the first day, but after that I lost my luck), shuffle board (Alisha and I both won once.), swam and played tennis. Gary is much better at playing sports than I am. All in all we had lots of fun and got to eat lots of yummy food.
